Nice....Nice, France

Here are a couple of my pictures from a trip to Nice, France. Now can you understand why I'm so in love?  I've been able to visit this area of the world twice already and want to keep going back.  Maybe it's the way the sun hits the water as it's setting.  Maybe it's the way people walk down the streets, so relaxed.  Maybe it's the way the houses  line the hills or the colorful flowers that line the streets.  I'm not exactly sure what it is, but there's something that strongly pulls me to these types of areas in the world.

I'm surprised by how much certain areas in Chile remind me of the French and Italian Riviera areas.  I hope to post more photos soon, to show you the striking similarities.  For now, I'm going to take a walk down memory lane and take a peek through some of my old travel albums.

Italian Pottery...Santa Barbara...

Years ago I was in Santa Barbara for my cousins wedding and a really good friend introduced me to this great shop Italian Pottery Outlet.

I fell in love with the Bellarte line which featured Allegria.  Now Bellarte is offering Tramonto.  OH if I could only buy every single piece!

This Cake Plate is on my wish list from the Allegria line and the Pitcher is from the Tramonto line.

What's on your wish list?  Let me know in the comments below!

Mediterranean Living In Chile

I feel very fortunate to be living in Chile where I'm enjoying a Mediterranean climate.  I always thought I might live in southern France or northern Italy but hey, Chile works.

We experience all four seasons here and they average about 3 months each.  It gets cold in the winter but rarely ever below freezing.  During the summer it can be in the 90's (F) but it always cools off in the evening and early part of the day.

Spring is coming, I can smell it, I can see it, I can FEEL it!  I hope to take you on more of my adventures and show you the beauty of this country and what each season has to offer.

Here's to keeping things slow and enjoying all the moments!
